Workshop to raise awareness of Prevent (WRAP)

Prevent is part of the government counter-terrorism strategy. It’s designed to tackle the problem of terrorism at its roots, preventing people from supporting terrorism or becoming involved in terrorism themselves.

Preventing vulnerable adults and children from being drawn into extremism is a safeguarding concern. It is essential that frontline staff are able to spot the signs and make a safeguarding referral.

There is no longer any WRAP training being delivered nationally due to changes at the Home Office.
